A very good friend of mine started lending me her copies of the Shatter Me series a couple of weeks ago, and I recently finished reading it so I thought I would try to write a 'review.'

Tahereh Mafi is an amazing author, and I was immediately drawn to multiple characters, but none more so than Kenji Kishimoto. I will attempt to figure out a template for future reviews in this post. 😂

*Spoiler Warning*

Title: Shatter Me

Author: Tahereh Mafi

Time: 5 Days

Favorite Book of the Series: Defy Me & Imagine Me

Favorite Character(s): Kenji Kishimoto, James Kent Anderson, Nazeera Ibrahim

Underrated Character(s): Hader Ibrahim, Delalieu Warner

Overhated Characters: Adam Kent Anderson

Ok ok. I bet you're about to type a whole paragraph about how terrible Adam and Delalieu are, aren't you? They're not any worse than Aaron honestly. Yes, Adam said some terrible things to Juliette, but you have to think of the situation. He thought she was dead, but suddenly she's back and all mushy with his estranged brother? I would probably have said some things too. And let's remember that most of the main characters are between the ages of 16-21.

Ok. Back to what I thought of this series. Honestly, a 10/10 all around, would definitely read it again. The first book was a little slow at the beginning and harder to get into, but once the pace picked up it was fantastic. The best povs were Kenji's of course. A lot of people say that Tahereh's writing is too flowery, and thus hard to understand. But I loved it. I absolutely love metaphors and such. And now I don't really know what to write. Please forgive this sad, sad, review.
